Well, what they say is that all good things must come to an end.. and that is what happened to our undefeated NHL start. 9-0 becomes 9-1. But of course- our clients won BIG with a 3 game baseball card that SWEPT! We gave out the Angels +185, +1.5 -110 & UNDER 8.5!!! So a 3-1 Client day is VERY VERY GOOD!

When is it a good time to play on a team that has given up 10 Power Play Goals in their first four games? When they play a team that is 0 for 15 on Power Plays! The Caps are coming off a solid home win on Monday against the Rangers, after two brutal beatings by the Thrashers while the Hurricanes are coming off a 3-2 road loss to the Islanders. We like the Carolina Offense to stumble tonight, and for the Caps to sneak by with a close victory.

We like this game to shoot over the 8.5 set total by about 3 or 4 runs. The last two times that Washburn and Buehrle hooked up, both games went OVER the total. Hitters on both teams have had much success against the opposing starter, so look for a few balls to be out of the park- especially by the Sox's big slugger, Paul Konerko, who has torched Washburn this year, hitting .625 with 2 HRs.
