Phoenix vs Vancover:
The ice is cold, slick and ready to score some goals. I am excited about the rule changes. The game will be more entertaining for people who are not that interested in hockey and it will bring 'em into the game. That is what the NHL needs ASAP !!!
The rule changes will mean one thing - goals, goals, and more goals !!! The scoring will be huge this season.
The goalies will see alot more action.
The biggest off-season acquisition for the Phoenix Coyotes came behind the bench when Wayne "the great one" Gretzky took over as head coach. The Coyotes will have alot of new faces to work with and that means it will take a little time to get it together.
The Vancover Canucks got good news with the re-signing of captain Markus Naslund and center Brendan Morrison. With the Sedins, Ohlund and Salo returning, the core group is intact and ready for another run at the cup.
The Canucks are estimated to have 32 shots on the goal v. the Coyotes with 25 shots and the edge of 7 more shots should lead to a 3-1 victory for the Canucks.
Games over the last 3 seasons are owned by the Canucks with Vancover going 3-0-1 straight up against Phoenix and all games played at Vancover since 1996, Canucks are 11-3-2 straight up vs the Coyotes.
