Thanks Buzz-in my opinion, based on having followed many services and they way they present themselves, you are class all the way,and I know Spark, Ripple and anybody who has been around the block and/or who follows services would say the same.
There is no pretense, bs, spin, doublesiding games, deception,etc. about your service or record.
The guys who are the object of my posts and criticisms should take a lesson from you;perhaps if they do, they will gain a little respect instead of being held in disdain and contempt.

Thanks Spark, my play is okay, I have Miami Ohio as a 1 unit play. Did get destroyed with Toledo last night. Acutally I was refering to todays entertainment in the other thread. Time to put that one to bed. Looks like you guys had some fun today...lol

Savage, thanks again. I have not had a chance to read all about what you said regarding sizzle and marketing but what I did see is correct. I know you will keep working to educate the younger readers or guys just getting into this about the sports service industry and games many play. I am glad people out there follow what is going on and hold people accountable as much as possible.

I never want to see anyone accused of something that may not be true but if services just get monitored by a legit source they could at least defend themselves. For those that say monitors are a scam, it is true some might be but I can tell you the two major ones on the net make plays available to the public 10 minutes after the start of games. The goal of every service is to be at the top of those leaderboards. Pretty difficult for those site operators to play games with those records with the dollars they command from a service to monitor them. Ask yourself if you think they would risk that controversy for a few buck from a service under the table to pad a record and lose all their subscribers if word of any funny business got out. I seriously doubt it. Bottom line, if the monitor does not post the games shortly after they start for public viewing, don't use or trust them.. If any serivce says they don't use legit monitor because they are not accurate or have bad lines, it is a lie. I have posted thousands of games over the last few years to monitors. The line may differ from your book by a 1/2 or 1 point once in a while but these monitors line feeds come directly from a book. Those games all even out over the long haul so any services claiming bad lines is either using a free monitor or is scared to get monitored.

Enough of my rant for the day. Keep up the good work.

Buzz-all I know is that there are a number of services which always claim to be winning.
The funny thing is that just about every time they are monitored over a SIGNIFICANT period of time(I don't mean a week or even month for that matter), they have always shown to be mediocre or wors when ALL their plays have been monitored and NOT just the plays and days they choose to talk about!

Chicks, if you are as good as you say your record is why not pony up 600 or 700 bucks to get on a major monitor? Hell, it is only one 8 team parlay for you. It pays for itself quickly if you post good records. At least when you get called out you can prove what games you had without question. Used correctly they are the best tool to build solid reputation. Trust me, you will get more exposure than you think if you post a couple good season on a monitor that has traffic. You have to invest in yourself then get the job done. Not rely on Pumping a record that cant be backed up. You only get you short term clients and people will challange your claims. You better off getting one guy that will stick with you year after year, and they only stick around and come back if they trust you. You may not always win but they probably are smart enough to realize you cant beat the books consistenly without a significant amount of time to study. Threads like the one today will not get you any trust from profesional people looking for a service. I have said it a million times here, the boards are great for exposure and keeping your name out there but the demographic of your typical service buyer is not on these boards much IMO. At least not the guys I get. You will get guys here that will try you out and if you hit they may come back The best clients I have are to busy with their lives, kids ..etc, have disposable income, cap on their own when time permits and want opinions and winners on games. They don't want to spend the time needed to win, appreciate an honest effort and keep them out of trouble each week even when your not hot. The big services target the weak and guys that are stuck. The good services look long term and build relationships. Unless you have tons of money to market, the long term approach is the only way to be successful and compete in this market. You cant be a small service and act or market like the big machines and boiler rooms. They can get away with it by scamming and volume. Small to medium services will only survive by relationships and winning and or keeping guys out of the trouble that may have problems doing that on their own. They may flat out be in total control of their bankroll and gambling, but just don't have the confidence to get on certain types of games. Other just want to be taught how to manage money then they are back out on their own. Bottom line, win, be honest and take a long term approach. It will cost you money on the front end and is frustrating competing with scammers but people will notice in time. It just will not happen overnight like many want, that is why they start shading records..etc
