Well it appears that Jack Price aka Corey Black(head) is lying once again.
Way back at the beginning of summer Jack announced on his comp. phone(888-7573777) that Corey(meaning Jack) would return again on September 1.
Well being the Jack Price/Corey Blackhead "fan" that I am, I began calling the number again.
To my dismay, this dynamic duo has not yet returned to enlighten us with the picks of the capper("Corey') who is rated number 1 out of 2000 cappers by "all" (unnamed) major monitoring services.
Lets examine the possibilities why Jack/Corey have not returned yet:
1) They will return sometime, but the fact that "they" didn't return yet is just another lie told be these guys(this is nothing new to these guys).
2) Jack knowing that most people know that Corey does not exist, needs more time to come up with a new imaginary person in order to peddle his miserable picks again(Jack's of course).
3) Jack has been too busy trying to find a state or country which will allow Jack to marry "Corey."
Hey-I live in the very liberal state of Massachusetts, where a guy can marry another guy.
However, neither Mass. or no other place in the world to my knowledge allows a ventriloquist to marry his puppet, which is the case with Jack Price/Corey Blackhead.
4) Jack/Corey can't post because they are once again in prison.
The possible charges are 1) embezzling(nothing new there); 2)Jack performing in public as a ventriloquist without a license; 3) consumer fraud and many more too numerous to mention.
5) Jack/Corey are simply lost (hopefully at sea) and have no way of contacting anyone.
6) Jack/Corey had a change in plans and decided to elope with "Corey(How sweet).Inasmuch as Corey is still under 18, they have chosen to go public again until Corey is of majority age(hopefully never).
7) Jack had a vision from the Almighty and has decided to change his miserable ways;one rumor has it that he and Corey have retired to a monastery.
8)Along the same lines of #7, Jack has become more deranged than he already is and thinks HE is God;that being the case, Jack no longer feels the need to talk to anyone (on the phone would be demeaning to him) and has decided to embark on a journey to all the corners of the world to "spread" the word of the Messiah(him and Corey).
9) Jack has decided to come back later than Sept. 1 on his comp. phone, say around the fifth or sixth week of the season to let everyone know he is 66-2 in all his college and pro picks, and that if you call his office, you will receive all of the picks for the coming week with no obligation(which means if you call, YOU get NOTHING, except a salesman who will try to weazel YOUR phone number for obvious reasons.
10) Last but not least, well perhaps there really is a Corey Black who was affiliated with Jack Price until the beginning of summer, BUT that Corey did not know that Jack had told the world that he(Corey) would return on Sept. 1. and has been capping right along.
Perhaps then in the netherworlds of sports handicapping, there really is a Corey Black, who as Jack states, has been the best capper on the planet for the last 25 years(sorry gospicks-there is someone better), but known to few if anyone other than Jack, and that I am wrong in my assessment of the whole matter.
ps Where is Ty Gaston these days-sick, still in business,etc? I haven;t seen nor heard anything about him in months.
