Northern Illinois +3 against Northwestern.
The Huskies threw up over 400 yards of offense on a very stout Michigan defense last week and covered the game on the road. Now they come home to find a few extra points in their pocket and we will back them with it. Both teams return 12 starters from a year ago, a season that saw NIU go 9-3 (7-4 ATS) and 3-1 ATS at home. Northwestern, on the other hand, went 6-6 (5-7 ATS) and just 2-4 ATS on the road. Another key factor would be that the Huskies have D-1AA Tennessee Tech next week, while the Cats see ranked Arizona St on the docket, and may be looking toward that game to establish themselves this season.
NIU is 5-1 ATS in September
6-1 ATS versus non conference opponents
22-14 ATS as a dog since 1992
8-3 ATS when the line is from -3 to +3 since '92.
Atlanta (Sosa -$125) against Washington (Hernandez).
The Braves continue to play red hot despite losing to these Nats last night, they are 7-3 over their last ten games. Sosa has been just as hot, 10-3 with a 2.73 Era on the season and Atlanta is 11-4 when he makesa start. Hernandez is the workhorse for Washington, but they are not playing their best right now and he has a 2-13 career record versus the Braves in twenty starts, with a 5.08 Era.
We have two more MLB selections and three more NCAA selections. You can get all of these plays for $24.95 today or all of our selections through Monday night for just $49.95. Check out the site, www.unclelouspicks.net or email [email protected] for more info.
