For the first time under head coach Phil Jackson the Lakers will starts there playoff march on the road. The Lakers finished the regular season extremely strong. Los Angeles is 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games overall coming into play tonight. The last time these two teams squared off the Lakers got the Win 106-99 in Minnesota back on 3/14/03. The T'Wolves are just 4-7 ATS when playing with revenge of a home loss versus its opponent this season. With that in mind we like our chances with the Postseason tested Lakers today.
Philadelphia -6 over New Orleans
In the Hornets last regular season game they allowed only 77 points to the Atlanta Hawks. New Orleans is just 7-15 ATS after allowing 85 points or less in their previous game. New Orleans is also just 17-25 ATS on the road this season. With Philadelphia playing this Game 1 on there home floor we feel this environment is too much for the Hornets to handle we like our chances with the 76ers grabbing the chips in Game 1.

The Braves have started the season winning 2 straight Sunday games to start the season. The Braves are an amazing 33-24 on Sundays over the last 3 seasons. Brandon Duckworth will get the ball for the Phillies today. Duckworth is just 0-2 with an ERA of 4.26 lifetime against the Braves. In the last 45 meetings in Atlanta the Braves are a profitable 30-15 dating back since '97. Atlanta will give the ball to Shane Reynolds who is 5-1 in his last 8 starts against the Phillies. The Cubs will try to keep the roll going against Pittsburgh to end the series. The Pirates have struggled getting runs since the injury to their best player Brian Giles. Pittsburgh is just 1-7 in their last 8 games overall. With that in mind we like our chances of the Red Hot Cubs getting the Win at home in this contest.

When the Padres play against a team with a winning record the OVER is a profitable 6-1 thus far this season. The Rockies have played 8 games in Coors Field so far this season and the OVER is already 6-2 in those 8 games. Of course we all know how the ball flies in Colorado's thin air. These two teams combined for 19 runs in yesterdays contest and there should be more of the same today. Look for both of these teams to continue swinging the bast well and we expect this game to play out OVER the total.

Kurt Ainsworth will get the ball for San Francisco and he is coming off a nice performance against the Astros in a winning effort. The Giants are 8-1 in their last 9 games overall coming into play. Look for the Red Hot Giants to get the Victory against hated rival Los Angeles.

The Mariners must see the ball much better because they are an amazing 6-0 in day games so far this season while the Angles are just 2-3 during day games as well this season. Seattle is 14-7 in the last 21 meetings in Anaheim as they get ready fro the rubber match game in this series. Jarred Washburn will get the ball for Anaheim and he is just 1-2 in the early goings. With a price this big we don't feel Washburn deserves to be this big of a favorite against a solid Mariners team. We like our chances of Seattle grabbing the cash at a solid price.

The Yankees have gotten off to a nice start against Right Handed starters going 12-2 and have also gone 7-1 on the road thus far this season. The Twins will send Kyle Loshe to the mound. With the Yankees an amazing 13-4 against Minnesota in the last 17 meetings we feel the Yankees will grab the cash in this spot.

After a bit of a skid the A's have gotten back to their winning was getting the victory in 3 of their last 4 games overall. Oakland is an amazing 7-1 in 8 games played at home so far this season. everything seems to be the same with Texas who have allowed 28 runs in their last 3 games. Look for Oakland to continue to swing the hot bats and get the victory with Big Ted Lilly on the mound.

With the Lightning having a 3-2 series lead they would nothing more then to end this series right now in Washington and avoid the high pressure of a game 7. Washington too a 2-0 series lead then lost the next three game giving Tampa Bay a chance to end the Capitals season today. With the fact that the Lightning have won the last 3 meetings and come into play with a head of steam. We like our chances of Tampa Bay closing this series out today in game 6.
