  • The "why not?" play of the day

Tampa +320 over NY Yankees (Fossum/Johnson)

    Lets lists the reasons:

1)Tampa has beaten the Yankees in 9 of 13 this year

2)Tampa has beaten the Yankees in Yankee Stadium 4 of 6.

3)Randy's ERA in his 4 starts vs Tampa: 7.34

4)Fossum's ERA in his starts vs NYY: 2.07

If your scared take the run line at +150...but I see a nice value here with Tampa tonight.

    Good luck if you follow!

Ballsy Play Mr. Rook- Many of us still feel the sting of NY's loss to TB with Johnson on the mound earlier in the season - a number of us - promised not to play the stankies anymore. History can repeat again.

          Thanks guys,

Spearit....in a 1 unit play for every play of mine...this was just too much to pass up. 1 unit to pay me 3.20 units...with a team that's won 9 of 13....I'm gonna take my chances.

You couldn't pay me to take the Yankees in this one...but the value the other way was too much to pass up.

As a huge Sox fan I hope you are right, but personally I think the Yanks are going to extoll their revenge on Tampa the same way they did against KC a few weeks ago and sweep the series.

Rook I think you are right on here.....if nothing else the Rays somehow have their number....+300 is too much value to pass up and Johnson doesn't scare them anymore
