Ripple.. I have a big question and i hope you can answer it because I'm using them lightly this year.

What do you know of the who2beton site?

Gavazzi, JB, Rose, and Smart for football are the ones I follow. I am only going to follow some of these guys for the upcoming football season, and I know... GO LIGHT..

Do you know if these guys are legit?

Also, there's this service called RAINMAN? his website is www.rainman.com.. not sure if i could post this or not, and if i'm not..u can edit my post.. they claim to have hit 71% on top plays? believable or scams?

Those dickheads scam alot of money from me many years ago!
Everytime you call and get yours plays they want you to upgrade for more money and when you don't they suddenly have no plays to give! I lost so much to that dick head price!

though embarassed as I originally was about being scammed by these fuckers, I came to understand many here on BC have similar stories, and thus have learned painful lessons about what a great big lie handicapping services truly are. As for those wiseguy radio network or whatever dipshit thing they call themselves now, I would find out that these guys were not only sleezy con artists, but were terrible at sports picks (um, 4-32 in the NBA when I was with them and had to stop in utter disgust and being utterly broke). Have you heard their radio show recently? They say the stupidest things about how overvalued certain lines are etc etc and get you to call for "the move". That line about how he called your house everyday for a month made me smile, because he was recently doing that to me, and finally I answered his call (I generally ignore 800 numbers, but he kept leaving messages, so I started to recognize it was him). He gave me this schpeel about how well they did with the bowl picks the year I was with him, and I told him how terrible those picks were, and he agreed that it was an "off season"! He gives this revisionist history of his own services performance, which, my friends, I would think is one of the ultimate signs of a scamdicapper.
My favorite part of his calling though was that he called and left a message complete with an nfl preseason pick and it was "a gauranteed winner, call back if you want to come back and continue to make money" Out of some perverse anger in my heart, I took the opposite of his play and, quite naturally, won my bet (which I would also tell him on the phone. I think that's when he realized I wouldn't be signing up for the fall football season ). The services disgust me. BC is a haven that I am very happy people are protective of.

I signed up for basketball! and they sucked for the 1st week
and i asked whats the scoop! He said i was getting "computer plays" I said i spent $$$$ on that ! He replies with send me
$500 and you will get the VIP plays! Then when those didn't win he said over/under were their best plays! And his guy has a game that will go over by 20! I said good what is it, and he
replies that his over/under capper is not part of S.E. just send
$250 for 1 week of his plays that will hit 2 out every 3 games
with $100-200 a game all your money will be back in your pocket!

Well....I can't fault a lot of you for feeling the way you feel about services. I many years ago fell into the trap of the infamous Screw Feiner. Never again did I fall for that bullshit.

The things that happened to me and many of my clients in the past are the exact reason that I can tell you point blank that there a few of us out here that are legit. We are not perfect, we don't have games of the day, week, month, year, 100000000000000* specials etc....no inside info, nothing like that. The people that I affiliate with are very hard working and do the best they can to get the best games out to their clients day in and day out.

I don't hide my records, I don't scam people out of money. I don't send some games to half my clients and the opposite to the other half to ensure winners with some like I've heard many do.

I had a 70% guarantee last week that is as close to big hype that I will ever do. Justin and I loved this card...and you know what it did? It's fucking stuck. 1-9. Never had a worse day in my life. And it cost us over $5,000. Why? Cause I backed it up with a free month for all those that signed up. How do you spin that? You don't...you just apologize for the shitty night and promise to work your ass off to get it back.
Did we? Well last night between baseball, college and pro football, and WNBA, we went a collective 12-0! You think my guys are happier now? Yeah. Best day we've ever had in our history, and we've more happy for our guys then we are for us (cuase we bet our own games!)

JW and Chicagosportsconnection is a very solid, very honest hard working handicapper. I'm proud to be affiliated with him and can tell you that I would base my whole reputation on his credibility.

Buzz Sports is another....

There are others out there like him...and us...but not many. I"m not telling anyone to buy my picks, or JW's picks...but just do us one favor...don't group us all in together. As a whole, services are scum...but there are good guys here and there. I think you all are pretty lucky cause you've got quite a few here at BC.

Nick Patrick is steal a fraud

I'll share 3 experiences I had.

1. Feist is a scammer for all of the above reasons. Got friendly
with one of his staff a few years back and she told me about all of the BS that took place. He has about 6 cappers that sell under him and they all go every which way and who ever hits is then used in that weeks promotions. Also they give you a few games and only one hits and they promote that as the big winner as if it was the only game given. When I had his inside info I had a "personal rep" that I spoke to and every time We Lost (always) he would twist it into being my fault.

2. Hitman asked about Jimmy Vaccaro. He sucks. When I was playing big I thought (stupid me) I could use some info to reduce my time spent capping. Someone told me Vaccaro got info from his brother Sonnie who is associated with some programs (shoe deals, Charity hoop tornys, etc.). It started with a specific fee and when that wasn't going well it went up to get "jimmy's direct line". I spoke to him directly and got his "huge plays" and they sucked. Then he told me he was purchasing plays from a casino bookmaker who purposely put out a bad line to suck the public in. He wanted you to split the cost with his big bettors. Well he already had me for more money than I'd like to admit, but he wanted 250 per play for those "special plays". Nice guy to talk to, but full of shit like the rest.

3. Last experience, I know you guys are thinking you must be an ass for letting them take you this far. I WAS!!!
I had one good experience. I get this call from a guy named Frank, he said he was in Chicago. He told me that he got my name from a staff member at Feist (maybe the girl that gave me the trueth about feist, I don't know. Anyway he said to play his games and we'll talk in a week or so. I told him I wasn't interested but he called everyday for a week and gave me plays. The trueth is he Kicked ass. Later we talked money. The deal was he would give me plays from Mon. - Sun. I would play them for an agreed upon amount and at the end I would give him 30% of my winnings. I did this and it was the best I ever did. I'm not sure how this worked on his part but I was honest with my amount and he gave me the plays. I used to send my money to a girl in Vegas and talked to him on a cell. One other note. There were a few times that I didn't want to play as big and we agreed and he was cool with that. The only reason I stopped using him was because I now play very small. I heard from him once or twice since then to see if I wanted to play, I said no and that was that. No hassle like the other guys give.


The bottom line is 99.9% of the services are nothing but scammers. I mentioned Frank because it was an honest experience. Even though the situation about Frank is real don't ask for contact info because I don't have any.

My advice is play small have fun and pick your own games. If you have something to share put it on the forum if not see what others are sharing and go from there.

I haven't put plays out because I don't want anyone taking my picks ( they are just based on gut feelings), but many people on the forum put out solid plays based on good strategies. Thats all you need and it's free!!!!!
