Been working on punching the numbers from the 2003 NFL Season through my Excel Program.
Here's a refresher on 2004 though:
Program went 52-30 ATS (63.4%) on dogs and small faves. Of those 82 games, it was a stronger 37-17 ATS outside division. And of those 54 games, the picks went 27-6 ATS is their opponent was coming off a loss.
I don't know about all that subdividing and stuff; that could be too close to backfitting. But I DO know that betting the better team statistically as a dog or small fave and hitting 52-30 ATS is pretty good.
So far I've got 3 weeks of numbers for the 2003 Season. Cross my fingers and hope they hold up...
