However, I think he overkills his PowerSweep with too many stats from past seasons, many of which have no bearing on what will happen on the field say in a big game in the middle of the season, the outcome of which is much more contingent on what is happening with the teams in question now and not 5 years ago.
I'd agree with that, but if you know how to separate the good from the bad, then you still have an excellent source of information. It really should strictly be a source of information too. I don't think even his newsletter college 4* has proven itself a long-term winner. He had two big seasons in a row, and he's still selling it off of those seasons (11-2 and 10-3). It's been mediocre ever since. Also, sometimes you'll see that he has a pick on a game, and then read the write-up, and you won't be sure who he really likes by the end of it. Again, just use the info. It's easily worth $100 a season.

His picks over the last couple of years have been average at best which is better than most of his counterparts. However to his credit I will say one thing I just got his college football preview magazine for the first time and the magazine is outstanding. Just shows you can have all the information in the world and it still doesn't guarantee you being a good capper
