DVR question

Got a question with those with Tivo...or DVR with charter


If you record a baseball game lets say and it's scheduled to end after 3 hours...if the game lasts longer, does tivo, or the dvr keep recording until the game is over? Like Football with OT or something...I'm just wondering if it will keep recording until the program changes, or if it goes off when they have slated the program to end.

No John ..TIVO .... it will not continue to record ... but there is a option on TIVO to continue recording after the schedule time ... If you can not find it let me know ...

There is a setting in Tivo that allows you record that extra 10 or 20 minutes.
I will check my Tivo and pass on the info later today.
Before I would just record the show after the game to make sure, but there is setting and I will get that over to you.

and you can open a thread anywhere as long as it does not have plays in it ... If you are posting plays then you must stay in here ...

When you select the program there will a option key next to "Record this episode"
Hit the options key an then go to Stop recording button and enter ow many minutes you want to record after the "scheduled shut off time"

Yes, Go to the TO DO LIST which is in the... Programs to be recorded ... Go to options and you will see ... Strat recording ON TIME .... Stop Recording ON TIME .... You can toggle the ON TIME on both of those ....

Or just record whats on after it if u have space! I sometimes do that just in case!
