Edmonton has been the superior defensive team here early in the season holding opponents to just 4.7 YPP while they gain 8.2 YPP. Edmonton has been very effective throwing the ball at 9.7 PYA and also have been good on defense against the run allowing just 3.5 YPR. Montreal on the defensive side has allowed 5.8 YPR while allowing opponents to throw for 7.3 PYA with a completion rate of 59.4%. Here is a situational trend I also like. Play On - Road underdogs or pick (EDMONTON) - off a win by 14 points or more over a division rival. (33-11 since 1996.) (75%, +20.9 units. I will grab the team that has been more effective on the defensive side stopping teams this season with the points. Play On Edmonton +3.5 to win 1 unit.
