I took over...I didn't bet the game bet cuz my book had it at 208 1/2 so that scared me off. Hoping for 205 now.

Yeah, I called in the over and they had it at 207. It caught me off guard, but I played it anyway.

Losing these favorites in baseball is a killer...you have to win like 2 to 1 and you only win a small amount...we need some dogs.

I think it's best to take dogs and small favorites. If you win 50%-55% you will be up a good amount and it's better than winning 60-65% on the big favorites, and if you are going to take a big favorite you're better off taking the run line.

The run line has killed me this year. I thought like you did when I started betting baseball *this season), but I'm surprised how many of these games are 1-run games. I'm still trying to figure out how Houston was a -145 tonight? THEY CAN'T SCORE, AND THEY WERE UP AGAINST MADDUX.

Totally agree about the favorites in baseball. That being said, I'm just happy to FINALLY having a winning day. I'm a firm believer in the jinx, so I know I shouldn't be counting the Sac over as a winner just yet, but dammit, if they can't score a measly 6 points in 6 minutes, then I think that's the big guy upstairs telling me that I need to give up gambling. lol

Oh yeah, $JIMMY$, for the love of God, don't let me wake up tomorrow with you having a new thread with about a million exclamation points talking about your last two days in baskets. Let's just keep it on an even keel, PLEASE.

LOL...I HATE TO SOUND GREEDY, BUT IT'S HARD TO WIN MONEY WHEN ONE SPORT IS DOING GOOD, BUT THE OTHER BAD.
