Irvine, CA firm, Jack Price Sports,
to pay Mo. $15K for 'Don't-Call' violation

Sept. 10, 2004 - Jack Price Sports has been ordered to pay Missouri
$15,000 for violating that state's No Call law, said Missouri
Attorney General Jay Nixon Thursday.

Nixon said his office received more than 60 complaints about Jack
Price Sports, operated by Marc Meghrouni of Irvine, which offered
tips on point-spread betting on sports events.

In addition to the $15,000, Meghrouni agreed to not make any more
telemarketing calls to Missourians on the No Call list and abide by
the other provisions in the law.

Nationally, Do Not Call registration is good for up to 5 years. More
than 6 million Californians have joined the National Do Not Call
Registry.

The California Attorney General's Office urges California consumers
to file complaints with the FTC if telemarketing calls are received
on phone numbers placed on the National Do Not Call Registry before
September 1, 2003.

To date, Nixon's office has obtained nearly $1.2 million in judgments
against businesses that violated the No Call law.

California hasn't released how much it has collected in violations.

Interestingly the date cited above is right around the time Jack Price stopped advertising his own plays and began pumping the plays for his non-existent and imaginary partner, Corey Black(head);the pieces of this puzzle are now beginning to fall into place.

I did too. I hate people calling me. Thats something I dont do, always call, and bug people by emailing them. You may get more business, but I think that if your good enough, they will come on their own. Even when I tell people to email me for the free play. I dont bug them, just give them the play, if it wins, they will sign up if they want to. I think he deserved the fine.

I must say i have got many phone calls from Jack Price n his crew always trying 2 get me to sign up. Actually i recall a day havin a 10 minute convo with a worker for him and actaully telling him off. He stated they had a game 2 bet your house on a 25 point spread winner jus bad.

Its very true though. If someone kept calling me about their business, basically begging me to sign, I would tell them to screw off. They sound desperate, and probably not the best way to advertise. I will give you my records, and my website address, and its your choice to sign. It would be a good investment, but as my units keep rising, everyone will see. Im not going to bug the heck outta of any of you.
