  • Question about a sports handicapper??

Has anyone ever heard about a guy named Gary Sanders. I know he use to be on TV about 15 years ago, is he a crook or an honest person. He has a comp line and his comp plays seem to do pretty good.

I've never heard of him. Does he have a website?

If you play some of his comp plays and win a little cash then you could always buy some plays with that money & find out if he's any good, but I would be willing to be that he's an average handicapper.

Yeah pickem, I've heard of the guy, mainly from his ads in the Don Best schedules. I have called his comp line a few times and have got winners everytime that I have called, but that is only 3 or four times.

He advertises that a nickel player made $50,000 last year playing his picks, but we all know how these ads are decieving.

But any service is worth a shot if they are legitimate and not scammers. We have a lot of good cappers here that probably could be selling there picks and we get them for free. Also, his ads are right there along with Fiest, Joe Wiz, Tony Marino, The Duke, Billy the kids, Tom Majors, and Al Reno. So if you heard bad about these other names then sure enough this guy is right down that alley too.

I personally have been monitoring a guy by the name of Jim Wright who is also advertised in Don Best and he does pretty well on his comp plays. My theory is that this Gary Sanders and Jim Wright are somehow connected in some way if you know what I mean.

Anyways, let us know if you go with his service and maybe you can inform us periodically how his service is.

By the way, anyone interested in this guys comp line let me know and I can give you the number.

        Have a good one.
        Mick.

mickpetruzzi , thanks for the info. Some of the names that you mention, are probably more on marketing, than they are on handicapping. I have never called this Gary Sanders and if he is like everybody else, he will probably try and talk you into betting dimes and nickles and I don't bet that much on these games. He would have to prove to me, that he is as good as he says he is. He probably would want a big fee for his service and for small players, it would not work. Was just curious about this guy.
Do you have the comp number for that Jim Wright guy. Again thank you mick

what do you know about dave cokin? His comp plays (except for the past two nights) have been unbelieveable the past 2-3 weeks. His Widow games that I see on the mailing list have also been hitting. what do you know about him?

Not a problem pickem. I have to tell you that the last time I used this Jim wright compline was about at least a month or two ago. However after reading your post it kind of brought back to me this guy so I called his number. When I did it said his name was bobby sanders and that he is having trouble with his phone lines and to call some other number. Imagine that, being able to record a message telling you to call another number cause he is having problems, yet he is able to record THAT message.

Anyways, his number is 1-800-431-8505. I don't want it to look like I am selling this guys service cause I'm not. I just had his number in front of me on this schedule and when I did call I got some winners. However, I am sure this guy is like all the rest and like you said, marketing, and making you fork over your bankroll and expect you to play 2 dimes a game.

Hope that helps in some way or another.
              Mick.

                49erman,

I have not heard that much about Cokin and I am sure some guys in here can tell you a few things about the guy. However, like I said before and like pickem said, these guys are all about marketing and trying to lure your money into there pockets. If these guys really hit there 70's and 80 percents then they wouldn't be selling there picks. Guys here are just as good if not better then some of these services out there.

Cokin is in partnership with Fiest and I pesonally can care less for Fiest so that is why I don't follow this guy.

                Have a good one pal.
                Mick.

I do agree with you on Jim Feist, the plays that I have seen from him haven't gone too well....

I can't believe some of these guys...I called one guy (Al Reno) and his recorded message said that "Even if you are taking a shit....dont even wipe your ass.....just call me because this play is so huge." Lol

                        What a buffoon

called his # and before I can get a word in edgewise he's trying to sell me on his weekly and monthly membership. I say give me something to show me you know your picks... some sort of proof that you know your elbow from your a #$#&%! He gives me his pick and tells me to play it strong. Needless to say his pick got crushed wasn't even close. Didn't wager much on it better senses told me so before hand, more of a pay for proof that guys like this are just what everyone thinks, bottom feeders. Don't waste your time and money with guys like this unless you just want to be entertained by how much bs some one can shoot at you while maintaining a straight face. Stay w your gut and good judgment, and good luck to everyone trying to get theirs with legit picks and good wins.

You're not making a very good impression with your 1st post by bringing up a thread from 2003. It makes you look odd like you're with this service or another one.
