Wake Forest –9 (3 Units) 12:00 pm EST

A lot of points to lay but it should not be a problem for the Deacons. Florida St. has about 15 hours to rest after their win over Clemson while Wake has been off since Saturday when they clinched the ACC title. They are not a lock for a #1 seed just yet though. A tournament win can get them there and they should have no problem beating the Seminoles for a third time this season. They finished the season on an 11-2 run which included losses at Marquette and the postponed snow game at Maryland. This team is playing with a ton of confidence and Josh Howard is one of the best forwards in the country and along with Vytas Danelius form one of the best duos down low in the country. The Deacons out rebounded Florida St. 78-56 in the two meetings this season and held the Seminoles to 34% shooting from the floor while they shot 41%. Wake led the ACC in rebounding while the Seminoles were 7th in the conference. The Deacons were 2nd in the conference in shooting compared to Florida St. who finished 8th. We could cover all the stats here but no need to as Wake Forest is the dominant team playing with a purpose against a team coming off their play-in game just a few hours before. Don’t be surprised to see a close game early but Wake will take control and grab the easy victory.
