Milwaukee Bucks (20-28) at Detroit Pistons (30-19)
Recommended Play: Detroit -11
Preview courtesy of TSN:
The Milwaukee Bucks attempt to win four straight games for the first time this season, as they visit the Detroit Pistons at The Palace of Auburn Hills.
This is the third meeting of the season between the clubs. The two previous contests were played at the Bradley Center and both were won by the Bucks. The teams will play once more in the 2004-05 campaign, as the Pistons will host Milwaukee on April 15th at The Palace.
Milwaukee has won two straight and six of the last nine contests in this series. The Pistons and Bucks have split the last eight meetings at Detroit.
On Saturday, Desmond Mason scored 23 points as Milwaukee cruised to a 113-83 victory over the Atlanta Hawks at the Bradley Center. Mike James added 18 points and six assists for the Bucks, who played without leading scorer Michael Redd.
Redd had a streak of 212 consecutive games played halted after spraining his left index finger in Wednesday's win over the Toronto Raptors. He had not missed a contest since April 16, 2002. Redd is questionable for tonight's game.
The Bucks are just 6-18 on the road this season. Milwaukee visits the New York Knicks on Wednesday at Madison Square Garden in its final game before the All-Star break.
Detroit comes into tonight's game having won two straight and seven of its last eight games overall. On Saturday, Chauncey Billups scored 21 points on 7- of-9 shooting and Richard Hamilton added 20 along with eight assists as the Pistons rolled to a 107-86 victory over the Washington Wizards at The Palace.
Tayshaun Prince recorded 16 points and seven assists in Saturday's victory for the Pistons, while Rasheed Wallace netted 14 and Ben Wallace scored 13.
Detroit shot 53 percent from the floor, including a 6-for-12 clip from three- point range.
Detroit is 5-1 in Monday games this season.
The Pistons 18-7 as the host this season. Detroit will visit the Philadelphia 76ers on Wednesday in its final game before the All-Star break.
Good luck
Mike Thomas
