They returned Home from an 0-3 SU Road Trip to defeat Unlv 62-58 at Home while failing to cover the 5.5 point line ATS. The Lobos should improve off of that SU win and some more Home Cookin'. Positive trends include 6-3 ATS as Favorites, and 4-2 ATS after a good Defensive effort.
The Aztecs enter this Conference match up under Head Coach Steve Fisher at an Even Stephen 9-9 SU, and 7-8 ATS. They played well to begin the Conference season, but have lost two out of their last three games SU and ATS. Negative trends for the Aztecs include 4-7 ATS versus winning teams.

Weather appears to be a contributing factor to the Totals line moving down, but this game can be higher scoring than expected. Both teams can throw and run on Offense, and both teams are suspect on Defense.

The Bears of the Big Twelve Conference under Head Coach Scott Drew are 8-5 Straight Up, and 3-1 Against The Spread this season. Generally the bottom-dwellers in Big Twelve sports, they have been a pleasant surprise this year. The Bears have covered their last three events ATS, and have won six out of their last eight games SU. They won SU at Purdue as 17 point Dogs, played well enough at Texas to cover the line ATS, and played Oklahoma strong at Home in their last to cover the 15 point Dog line in a 65-61 SU loss. The Bears deserve a Free Play ON here tonight in a game they need only win SU.

They have been uncompetitive in their last three games -- versus tough Conference foes Oklahoma, Nebraska and Kansas. Unlike past seasons, they can't take this game for granted either.
