The Patriots got a very impressive win over the Colts last week, just as expected. An excellent defensive game-plan by coach Bellichick, and some very suspect play selection by the Indy coaching staff, resulted in the easy, 20-3 victory. And let's not forget that the Pats, who opened the game a 3-point favorite, were actually a 1-point underdog at kickoff time. The New Englanders. are 6-2 on the road this season, ranked 7th in total offense, and 9th in total defense.
The Steelers, got away with one last week, it's that simple. They were flat, and no doubt looking to this week's Conference Championship game, in that lackluster 20-17 win over the NY Jets. Pittsburgh is 9-0 at home on the season, ranked 16th in total offense, and 1st in total defense.
The technical and situational factors surrounding this game, are just about even. What we have here, is a tremendous public over-reaction to last week's games, thus making the line, New England -3....and what I call, a "false favorite." I like underdog Steelers, in a game that I have them winning outright by 10-points.

John
