Under 198 Atlanta/Milwaukee (2 Units)
We made a play with Indiana on Friday due to the tailspin of the Milwaukee defense. Milwaukee now comes back home before they take to the road once again for three more games. Thus our feeling is that the defense shows improvement due to their one game homestand, especially against a road-weary Atlanta team that will be playing their 7th consecutive road game. The Hawks aren't the most explosive offensive team in the league, as they are averaging 93 ppg this season and only 90 ppg on the road. They have only surpassed the century mark twice in their last 15 games. They have been almost as stingy on defense as well, allowing 100 or more points just 4 times in their last 15 games. The Milwaukee defense has been horrible of late as they gave up 100+ again on Friday but as stated earlier, the team knows this and they are in a good spot to settle it down. They will match up well with the Hawks in what should be a much slower paced game than what they have been involved with in their last 3 games where an average of 222 points have been scored. This is certainly driving the total up especially seeing that the last meeting between these two in Milwaukee in December had the total at 191.5 and they combined for just 185 points. We see a similar result on Sunday that should keep this game well under the total.
