Dirk Nowitzki had 34 points and 13 rebounds to pace the Mavericks, who are in the midst of their longest winning streak since posting six in a row from March 28-April 8 of last season.
Michael Finley added 33 points for the Mavericks, who improved to 3-0 on their season-high, five-game homestand. Dallas has won those contests by an average of just under 18 points per game. The Mavs are 12-6 at home this season.

McGrady finished 15-of-26 shooting, including 5-of-9 from behind the arc. He added five assists and three steals for Houston, which shot 52 percent from the field, including a scorching 11-of-19 from three-point range.
The Nuggets were able to creep within 75-73 entering the final 12 minutes, but the Rockets opened the fourth quarter on a 15-4 run to regain command. McGrady had seven points during the burst, and had 20 points in all in the fourth quarter. Houston outscored the Nuggets 41-25 in the decisive final stanza.
McGrady did sprained his thumb in the loss, but is expected to play in this evening's affair.
This will be the third meeting of the season between the Rockets and Mavs.
Dallas won both matchups including a 102-78 thrashing at the Toyota Center on December 11. The Mavericks have won three straight and 11 of the last 13 meetings. Houston hasn't fared well in Dallas recently, as it has dropped five straight and seven of its last eight games on the road against the Mavs.
Good luck
