Today we like Detroit +3 against Minnesota. The Vikings are in their normal, end of the season slide. The Lions are playing pretty well lately, though their actually record does not reflect it. The Lions are 6-4 ATS against the NFC this season and are coming off of a nice cover in Lambeau field. They are also 2-0 ATS in December so far this season and 6-4 ATS in December over the past three seasons. We will add in the fact that they are 14-11 ATS overall against the Vikings since 1992 and 3-2 ATS over Minnesota in the last three seasons. The Vikings are just 3-6 ATS against the NFC this season and are 0-2 ATS in December. In fact, December is always tough for them at 13-15 ATS over the past five seasons. They are coming off of a horrible loss at home to Seattle and with Green Bay coming up on Friday, this will definitely be a look ahead game for them. Minnesota is also just 1-3 ATS in the division this season and will have a tough time stopping the improving Lion ground game behind Kevin Jones. That will open some options for Harrington and the Lion vertical attack. This was the formula the Bears used to beat Minnesota 24-14, just three weeks ago and how Detroit covered their earlier game in Minnesota, 22-19.
