Today we like Carolina +3 against Tampa Bay. What exactly has the 4-6 Bucs done to be road favorites against a team that owns them? Carolina is 3-1 ATS over the past four meetings and is 3-1 ATS against Tampa at home since 1995. The Panthers are also 22-9 ATS at home against teams with a losing record and 25-11 ATS against teams with a losing record in the second half of the season. You may feel that the Bucs offense has been jump started with Brian Griese, but the Panther offense has been hot as well and Jake Delhomme has been super efficient over the past several weeks. Tampa was just 4-8-1 ATS as a favorite last season including 3-4 ATS as a road favorite. They were favored 3 1/2 in Carolina in a similar situation last season and the Panthers won the game outright, there is no reason to think otherwise here.
