The Bears are coming off two very good road wins at Oklahoma St. and Kansas St. After their big emotional win over the Cowboys, they didn't take too long celebrating as they came back 4 days later and took care of the Wildcats. That should certainly take away any fear of a letdown situation in this spot. It looks like this team is peaking at the right time as they head into the close of their Big 12 season and into the conference tournament. This team was picked to finish in the Big 12 as high at 5th in certain places and with the tournament still ahead of them, anything can happen if they are playing their best basketball. Nebraska on the other hand in done. Ever since point guard Jake Muhleisen went down against Kansas, the Cornhuskers are 1-10 losing by an average of just under 17 ppg. They only have 1 road win on the season at Centenary in their first game of the year. Baylor is only 9-5 at home but 4 of those losses came to Kansas, Oklahoma, Oklahoma St. and Texas. They are averaging 73 ppg at home while Nebraska is scoring just 57 ppg on the road. Nebraska is also allowing 8 more ppg on defense and have been out rebounded by nearly 12 boards per game in their last 5 games. The Bears certainly have not thrown in the towel like Nebraska has and their confidence coming home should be sky high right now. Look for a big time Baylor win today.
