Princeton Tigers at Wyoming Cowboys 9:00 PM ET
Princeton Tigers –1.5 –110 (2 Units)
Princeton is in good shape despite a new head coach. Joe Scott turned around the Air Force program and he has enough experience coming back to make his first year with the Tigers an easy transition. Princeton has five seniors this season, its largest senior class since the 1997-98 season, when the Tigers finished 27-2. They rolled over Bucknell in their opener before losing to Syracuse in a game that they were very much alive in until late. The Tigers managed just five free throws over the final 8:41 after they tied the game at 40 apiece. The Tigers have held their opponents to just 36% shooting overall and 24% shooting from three-point range in their first two games. Wyoming features eight new players this season, including five junior college transfers and it showed in their opener. They defeated Alcorn St. by 14 points, a team that is picked to come in 9th place in the SWAC, while committing 20 turnovers. They return only two starters from a team that finished last in the MWC a season ago. Dion Sherrell was supposed to pick up some of the offensive load but he out for 6 weeks with a hand injury. Scott faced Wyoming plenty of times while with the Falcons, winning both games last season, so he knows this team well.
