    MONDAY NIGHT MATCH-UP

Congratulations to those of you that signed up for our NFL SUNDAY NIGHT Football OPINION SELECTION that was an easy winner as New England controlled the game from start to finish and dominated Buffalo as expected. We even correctly predicted that Patriots WR Troy Brown would play some defense and snare an interception from his former teammate, Bills QB Drew Bledsoe, which he did in the 4th quarter. See the in-depth write-up provided to our clients for this game below.

Monday Night Football will feature a long-time NFC East rivalry, as Dallas plays host to Philadelphia. The Eagles were the last NFL unbeaten team until last week when they got dropped 27-3 at Pittsburgh. Cowboys’ fans were expecting big things from their team this season after Bill Parcells led them to the playoff Promised Land last year. Things have not gone nearly as well as hoped, as a 26-3 blowout loss at Cincinnati last Sunday was the fourth defeat in five games for the team. PRO INFO SPORTS has complete information, analysis, and advice for this game, and there is still time for you to sign up and get this winning selection and more.

NFL SUNDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL OPINION SELECTION (1% of Bankroll)

    NEW ENGLAND -7 over Buffalo

The Patriots host the Bills tonight at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro for an AFC East meeting. Buffalo has won three of four since an 0-4 start to the season, as they upset the New York Jets, 22-17, last week. New England rebounded from its first loss in 21 games with a convincing 40-22 victory at St. Louis last week. The Patriots win, coupled with the defeat for the Jets, moved Bill Belichick team back into first place in the division.

Buffalo is a run-first team, now using Willis McGahee as the main ball carrier to replace former starter Travis Henry. Despite wanting to be a smash-mouth running team, Buffalo ranks only 19th in NFL rushing offense. They will face a Pat defense that is only 21st against the run, but gave up just 81 rushing yards to St. Louis last Sunday, one week after the Steelers amassed 221 ground yards against the unit. In losing both previous visits to Foxboro with former Patriot Drew at the controls, Buffalo has averaged only 61 yards rushing and turned the ball over nine times. Bledsoe threw for a season-high 247 yards in his last outing with New England, but was sacked seven times in the defeat. Bledsoe has been sacked 23 times on the year, and Buffalo ranks just 27th in NFL passing offense. The depleted New England secondary remains hobbled, but the Patriots continue to patch the holes where ever they appear on this team. They sacked the Rams’ Marc Bulger 5 times last week and will look to put plenty of heat on Bledsoe here.

The return of running back Corey Dillon from a thigh injury was a huge factor in New England’s win over the Rams, as he rambled for 112 yards and a touchdown. Dillon will be challenged here by a Buffalo defense that limited the Patriots to 99 total ground yards in the Week 4 meeting, and ranks fourth in the league against the run. New England moved the ball effectively through the air last Sunday, with quarterback Tom Brady enjoying another surgeon-like performance. He should be aided this week by the return of wideout Deion Branch, who missed the past six games with a knee injury. The Bills come into this week ranked third in the NFL against the pass, but they have not fared well against Tom Brady, who carved them up in early October for 298 yards, two touchdowns and no turnovers.

The Bills-Patriots matchup has simply been one-sided during the Tom Brady era in New England. Brady is 6-1 SU/5-2 ATS in seven starts against Buffalo, having completed 62 percent of his passes for 1,417 yards with 12 touchdowns and six interceptions, four of which came in the 2003 season opener. He has a 90.8 passer rating against Buffalo. Drew Bledsoe, on the other hand, is 1-4 SU/ATS against the Patriots. He has completed 59 percent of his passes for 1,190 yards with five touchdowns and eight interceptions for a 68.8 passer rating. Don’t be surprised to see him get a little confused when he sees ex-teammate and receiving target Troy Brown on the field. The Pats are getting by with the loss of their starting CBs by using the multi-talented Brown as their nickel back. Bledsoe threw a lot of balls to him when he was with New England, so don’t be surprised to see Brown end up with one of Bledsoe’s throws in his hands here.

Buffalo is just 2-14 ATS in the second meeting of the season with New England, and is an awful 0-8 ATS in Sunday division road games off 2+ SU/ATS wins. Meanwhile, New England, at home when they won on the road last week is a sparkling 11-1 SU & ATS. The Bills will keep this one close for the first half, but will make some mistakes in crunch time, leading to some easy Patriots points. There’s a reason New England coach Bill Belichick was willing to trade Bledsoe in the division. He knows how to get in his head and force turnovers. That will be the undoing of Buffalo tonight, as the Patriots enjoy a double digit SU victory and ATS win.

FINAL SCORE: NEW ENGLAND 29 BUFFALO 6
