Toronto Raptors at Sacramento Kings 10:05 PM ET
Sacramento Kings –7.5 –110 (2 Units)
Sacramento is 0-3, losing to teams who are 7-3 this season (4-0 at home) and who were a combined 96-27 at home last season. This is their home opener and Arco has been a tough place for visitors, as the Kings are 69-13 over the past two seasons at home. They have shot a combined 47.4% over the past two seasons at home and have averaged 104.8 ppg. This year has started off just the opposite but all of their games have been played in Texas. The normally high-scoring unit has made 102 of 262 (38.9%) of its field-goal attempts and 11 of 40 (27.5%) three-point attempts. The poor shooting through three games this season excludes only Mike Bibby (51.2%) and Brad Miller (51.5%) among the team's core. Peja Stojakovic is at 32% overall and 22% from three-point range which is the biggest surprise. A return home will help him as he has not shot worse than 47% from the floor and 40% from behind the arc the past 4 seasons. Free throw shooting is the only area in which the Kings have excelled. They lead the NBA at 84.4 percent. The Raptors are off to a surprising 3-0 start, all at home, and now embark on a 6-game west coast trip. Toronto was 24-58 the past two seasons on the road and coming off an NBA worst 83.5 ppg last season. Last year they shot 40.9% away from home, also an NBA low and recorded only 39.2 rpg, 2nd worst in the league. Sacramento has dominated this series, winning 8 of the last 9 meetings including 5 wins at home by an average of 19.2 ppg.
