Today we like San Diego -6 against Oakland. The Chargers have been playing at an above average level of play this season and they have been doing it against the Raiders the past three seasons at 3-1 ATS. Drew Brees has been one of the best in passing efficiency in the AFC all season and with LaDainian Tomlinson backing him up, their offense has soared. San Diego has enjoyed a 5-2 ATS start to the season, leagues ahead of the 2-4-1 ATS Raiders. Oakland is 1-10 ATS in October the last three seasons and 1-11 in Weeks 5-9 over the same period. They were 1-7 ATS on the road last season, which included a 21-14 loss to the Chargers. The Chargers seem primed for their first shot at the playoffs in a long time, while the Raiders are looking to just ride out the season once more and start over in '05.
