Boston bounced back in game 4 on the edge of elimination with a monsterous two run shot. Momentum? This handicapper does not think so. The bottom line is that the Yankees bats have dominated there opponents in the post season. Pedro is not what he used to be and the Yankees lineup no longer fears the former Cy Younger. WIth the announcement that Curt will be back for game 6, it gives sox fans some hope in the series. This is the only justification for the line. There is no way Pedro has pitched better than Mussina in the post season. In addition we feel that with the Yanks bats and plus money this is a no brainer value play. The Yanks will send the sox home early for the year and gear up for a tough battle with the national league winner. We feel the Yanks win this game but have no opinion on the total. the number is pretty tight and we feel there is no value in the total.
3* Tampa Bay +6.5
The high flying Rams are not the team of old. Although we do look for Marshall Faulk to have a breakout game we feel this is a field goal game at best. Too much hype from Seattle falling apart in the last five minutes. The Bucs behind Griese and the defense get it done tonight.
