Are the 4-0 Jets for real ? - Sure looks it - Down 14-13 with 5:58 left against Bills last week, Chad Pennington calmly led his team 60 yards to set up the winning field goal lifting Jets to the victory and a perfect 4-0 mark however the heroics did not play well with backers as Jets failed to cash as 6 1/2-point favorites. Jets going 5-0 on the season is not out of the question as they host the hapless 49ers who will be without All-Pro linebacker Julian Peterson and possibly TE Eric Johnson, the league leader with 41 receptions and an over confident Rattay who claims last weeks OT win over Cardinals was never in doubt, sure !! However Jets covering the expected 10-points may be a whole new ball game. Jets own a dismal 5-10 ATS record last fifteen when laying eight or more points and are 6-13 ATS when facing an NFC West opponent including an 0-4 ATS mark when playing 49ers. Jets have lost the cash in three of it's five week six contests the last six years but more telling is the dismal 1-3 ATS record when at home. San Francisco just shy of the the league average in defensive yds/rushing (3.5), yds/passing (10.9) will do what Bills did, lose the game for fans but keep backers in the loot. - Good Luck
