Today we like Maryland -2 1/2 against North Carolina St. We always like Maryland at home in the conference and this is the spot for them. Maryland is 7-1 ATS when the total is between 42 1/2 and 49, this one is sitting at 43 1/2. Maryland is also 17-7 ATS off of a conference loss and we cannot see them losing two straight at home coming off of a 20-7 loss to G Tech last week. The Terps are also 14-2 ATS as a home favorite over the past three seasons and 17-6 ATS coming off of a conference game. This shows that they are always good to bounce back after a shoddy performance. NC St is 2-8 ATS in weeks 5-9 of the season over the last three years and they have not played all that well this season. Replacing Phillip Rivers is not the easiest thing to do in the World and their 21 points per game (42 on Richmond not included) is showing that their offense is struggling to put up scores.
