Northwestern is going to be on a high wave of confidence after their upset over Ohio State. Sometimes after a big win there is a natural tendency to have a letdown but I do not expect Randy Walker to allow it to happen. After 2 wins to start the season, the Hoosiers are back to their losing ways, losing 3 straight and not covering in any of them. I am not a fan of Gerry DiNardo as a coach or recruiter and if you look at the fact he has 19 returning starters yet there's no improvement from his team (yes, they beat Oregon but that was more Oregon giving it to them than them actually outplaying the Ducks), the fact is the Hoosiers should be bigger dogs here. Here's 2 solid trends concerning the series between these 2 teams: The straight up winner is on a 20-0 streak vs. the spread and the favorite is 15-3 last 18 times they have met. Northwestern is the favorite and they should absolutely win this one, they cover as they win by 17.
