Today we like the Carolina/Atlanta Under 38 1/2. Last week the Atlanta under was a golden charm and though we do not think that this game will be 6-3, we feel that the trends between these two speak loudly of a low score. In the 18 meeting between these two teams, twelve games have gone under, five over, and one push. Atlanta has a much improved defense and will be able to keep the Carolina offense stifled, just as much as the Panther defense will Vick and Co. Atlanta has played to two unders already this season and we are expecting to see the run oriented offense that brought Carolina to the Super Bowl last season. Stephen Davis is still questionable, but DeShaun Foster showed that he can handle the load in the Week 2 contest against the Chiefs. Nine of the Falcons last twelve games have seen the low score and the Panthers are noted for it. Last season, these two played to 23-3 and 20-14, both under by wide margins.
