This time around thanks in part to Seattle's 2-0 start and 49ers 0-2 mark Seahawks are laying double digits (10.5). At double digit dogs 49ers can't be overlooked, although they are 0-2 San Francisco has outgained both of its first two opponents and have played outstanding defense while losing both games by a total of five points and covering both may we add. Series history certainly suggest a closer game than the spread would indicate, the last nine meetings whether in pre or regular season has resulted in an average 4.5 point victory. With two games in the books 49ers have better stats in total offense (364.5 YPG - Hawks 298.5 YPG) and defense (264.5 YPG - 276.0 YPG) which makes taking the double digit points a promising proposition.
