Today we like Jacksonville +3 against Denver. The Broncos are coming off of an emotional win at home against their bitter rival Kansas City. JVille is coming off of a lucky last minute win in Buffalo, that actually may jump start the chemistry on this young team. The Jags were 5-3 at home last season with big wins over Indy, Tampa, and the Saints. They have done it with defense, a team that ranked 2nd in the NFL against the run and that is exactly what they will see today. To beat Buffalo, they stopped Henry and forced Bledsoe to the air, win. Today they must stop Griffin and force Plummer to the air, if that happens well enough we see another win. The Broncos will be flat coming off of the Sunday night win and the JVille defense will take advantage, we will back the home team to at least cover this number.
We also like San Diego (Lawrence +$110) against San Francisco (Rueter). San Diego is hanging on by a thread to a playoff hope. They beat Jason Schmidt yesterday and Lawrence is 2-0 in three starts against the Giants this season. Rueter is 0-2 in four starts against San Diego this season and we feel the value is held by the doggie here.
