Info needed please

I am looking for some information and was hoping that someone here could maybe help me out by at least pointing me in the right direction. What I am looking to do is to become a Sports Handicapper. Question is how to I go about getting started doing this? I tried searching on yahoo and google but came up with little information. Sorry if I am posting this in the wrong spot but I figured someone here might an idea on want steps I could take to get this started. Thanks for any help on this.
