In the last 3 seasons--make that four as of yesterday-- a 1-3 team in pre-season is 0-14 ATS in non-division games in opening week of regular season, including 0-3 yesterday.
Prior to pre-season, I had this game circled BIG TIME as a strong play on the Packers.
After pre-season was over, I reduced the Packers to a "lean" for a number of reasons I won't go in to.
But I did some research on 1-3 pre-season teams. Due to that research, I changed my "lean" on the Texans yesterday to a "lean" on the Chargers.
Same thing tonight. I've changed my lean on the Pack to a lean on the Panthers.
The 0-14 trend suggests going "against" the Packers, and therefore taking the Panthers -3.
I like the Panthers pk -165 tonight.
