  • Wednesday Free Play And 5* Going Tonight

    Insider Edge Sports 1-900-562-5100

Well we gave some back on Tuesday thanks to the NBA but all good things must come to an end…. at least temporarily. Another streak starts tonight with a 5* unit play in NCAA hoops along with 4 other selections. NCAA hoops continues to remain hot as we showed a small profit of +.5 units last night and have now gained 31.9 units the past 6 days. Selections can be purchased from our website for only $25. Click Here To Purchase Wednesday Plays Plays can also be purchased at Trackpicks for only $20. We have just started using Trackpicks and they will be our official monitor from here on out as they are a paid monitor that can have picks broken down by units and also have many other features not offered by the free monitoring services. Marshall –3.5 (2 Units)

Both teams come into this game at an even 10-10 and both are Jekyl and Hyde’s when it comes to home and away games. Marshall is 7-2 at home and 8-3 on the road while Akron is 2-7 on the road and 8-3 at home. The Zips are the better teams offensively as they average nearly 82 ppg this season, however they only average 77 ppg away from home. The Thundering Herd average 78 ppg at home and have a big advantage defensively. Akron allows 83 ppg and 49% shooting on the road while Marshall is giving up just 68 ppg and 42% shooting. Marshall is a much better team from behind the arc offensively (39%-32%) and that doesn’t bode well for the Zips who are allowing 43% on the road from three-point range. The guard matchup of Marshall’s Ronald Blackshear (22.2 ppg) against Akron’s Derrick Tarver (22.8 ppg) is worth the price of admission alone and we give the slight edge to Blackshear based on defensive ability. It also does not hurt that Blackshear shoots over 90% from the free throw line. Akron is close to a –10 rebounding margin on the road while Marshall is a +3 at home. What makes this even more noteworthy is that in the 10 losses Marshall has suffered, they have been out rebounded in 8 of them. In their 10 wins, they have won the rebounding battle in 8 of those. With the better defense and the huge advantage on the glass, Marshall should pull out the easy home win.
