Expos at Cards game notes:

Montreal at St. Louis has a very interesting match up tonight with Hernandez pitching against Suppan. Suppan has been very bad lately especially in his last 3. He gave up 10 walks in his last game....can't seem to find the plate. Hernandez has been just the opposite in his last 3. He has been lights out with ONLY a 2.13 ERA and going 8+ innings in the last 3 starts including 1 complete game. This one has another upset brewing at Busch. Expos have been on FIRE lately, scoring runs and great defense and pitching and winning 9 of their last 11 games. Yes I am talking about the Expos! This one will come down to the starters and this one gives that edge to Hernandez....bullpens are matched pretty well both with ERA's around 3.00 recently. Look for this one to be Montreal winning 5-3 over the Cards.

This game brings us a Pitching match up of 2 pitchers who have not had the best of years. Anderson 1-9 and Shoeneweis 6-8 meet for their first time against ech other. Shoeneweis has pitched better recently and Anderson has just been terrible all year especially at home, where he has a 8.86 ERA....Anderson has pitched well against Chisox in the past, but he has not pitched well at all this year!! I like the Chisox to get there bats going again, just like last night against another terrible starter from KC. I see this game ending up as a 8-4 Chisox victory. The OVER is also a good play in this game where in the last 11 meetings between these 2 teams the over is 8-2-1.
