  • Thursday Detailed Comp MLB Side Play, enjoy.

Last night was a success as my side play on Houston had no problems getting by Arizona, in fact the Astros gave up just two runs the entire game.

Good day everyone, here is todays comp MLB side play, enjoy.

    Thursday Comp MLB Side Play

    Houston @ Arizona

Arizona is on a 10 game losing streak that doesn't look like it's going to end here against Houston. The D-backs are just 31-65 on the season, that's the worst record in the entire MLB right now. Their lack of success is due in large part to their lousy outfield, they have allowed a whopping 540 runs, that's a full 130 more then Houston has given up this season. Arizona got beat by this same Houston squad last night, there is no reason to think the D-backs bats are suddenly going to come to life and their outfield will suddenly find a groove.

Houston is 46-48 on the season, that puts them 14 games back of the Cardinals who lead the Central Race right now. Roy Oswalt will get the start tonight, already with only 62 runs allowed this season through 135 innings, Oswalt is pitching solid right now. Oswalt has been quite brilliant this season, he's only allowed 8 longballs all year and he's walked just 28 batters all the while fanning another 119, BRILLIANT. Houston has won 4 of the last 6 starts with Oswalt on the mound, expect Oswalt and the Astros to have their way with the D-backs on this night.
    TAKE HOUSTON.
