A very nice day indeed yesterday as I went 3-0 in service plays and won my guarantee. My 2 guaranteed winners were Atlanta over Montreal and Oakland over the ChiSox, plus I gave you Texas over Toronto as a bonus play. I am now 5-1 over the last 2 days and 8-4 since the All-Star Break. I feel a very strong second half is coming, but I won't get too excited just yet. There is alot of work to do.

Boston -147 over Seattle: The Sox are coming off a tough 4 game series with Angels in which they split and did not gain any ground on the Yanks. Boston knows full well that they can't squander chances against the bad teams in the league if they want to catch the mighty Yankees. Seattle certainly falls into the category of a bad team as the are 34-56 on the year, 3-12 in July and 21-40 at night. They are hitting just .256 and scoring 4 runs per game while the team ERA is 4.72 on the year (over 7.00 ERA in their last 10 games). This team is bad and getting worse. Bronson Arroyo has pitched very well for Boston lately, posting a 2.41 ERA giving up just 2 earned runs or less in 5 of those starts. HIs record is down to poor run support as his team is scoring just 3.93 rpg in his starts, but against this Seattle squad, 4 runs may be enough. Go Sox.
