    PHILADELPHIA PHILLIES VISIT BOSTON REDSOX
    SATURDAY JUNE 26 @ 1:15 PM EST
Phillies who are in second place in the NL East standings play the Boston Red Sox who would be in first place in literally any other division, but trail the Yankees by two and a half games at the time of this writing. The Bosox have one of the better records in the majors at home and Philadelphia is just slightly better than .500 on the road. This is good news, because your sharps at the RED ZONE see great value in this game and an opportunity to cash in with a nice underdog winner. Boston will start Bronson Arroyo who has not pitched with any consistency all year. More importantly he is 0-3 when hurling in Fenway and sports a horrible 7.07 ERA there. Arroyo has lost all four decisions in June and gone by the fifth inning only once this month. He has a propensity to give up the long ball, something that bodes well for Jim Thome who leads the NL in home runs.

Philadelphia will counter with Brian Powell who is 1-1 3.86 ERA since being called up from their AAA affiliate Scranton/Wilkes-Barre. He has started two games, went seven innings in each and has been a pleasant surprise. This will be Powell’s first road start and will show his true colors against the strong hitting Red Sox. Boston is led by Manny Raimirez who is fifth in the AL batting with 19 homers, 50 RBI’s, 84 hits and a 3.39 batting average. Ortiz and Damon combine to add 20 homers, 90 RBI’s and hitting depth. As mentioned earlier Thome has a league leading 23 home runs, 50 RBI’s and ranks 11th in batting at .320. RED ZONE sees this as a case of Arroyo struggling, Philadelphia knocking him out early, and Powell continuing to pitch well. Our faithful clientele can take this opportunity for a good payday, as the Phillies should be a nice underdog.
Take Philadelphia to win Saturday at 1:15.
