Cincinnati Reds (Wilson) at New York Mets (Ginter) 7:10 PM ET

New York Mets (Ginter) -105 (2 Units)

Paul Wilson will be trying to pick up his eighth win for the fourth time on Tuesday but he has been having a tough time. He has been victimized by blown saves in his last three starts and hasn't won a decision since May 25th despite throwing the ball well. However, he has not pitched well on the road even though he has no losses on his record. He has a 4.79 ERA away from home, which is 3.25 runs higher than it is at home. The Reds are undefeated in his home starts (6-0) but just 4-3 on the road. Matt Ginter, who gets his second start of the current New York homestand, is coming off a no-decision against the Indians. He has now gone 5 straight starts allowing 3 runs or less (1.94 ERA). The Reds snapped a nine-game road losing streak with their win over the Cardinals on Sunday but one game is not a lot to get excited over. The Mets meanwhile have won 4 straight and 6 of their last 7 games. They are 11-4 their last 15 home games which has put them 6 games over .500 at Shea Stadium for the first time this season. Richard Hidalgo, who will play his first game against the Reds since his trade from Houston, is 5-for-13 against Wilson. This has been a series that the Mets have had a lot of success in as they have taken 10 of the last 14 meetings.
