My solid month of May lost some of its luster after yesterdays 1-4 record. Just a horrible and frusterating night where 3 of my 4 losses came in extra innings. Baseball rankings for the last 30 days include a 2nd ranked spot at Gameday Monitor, a top ranking at Handicapper Hound Dog, a 5 spot at Online Sports Network and I have 6th place ranking at at Wise Tracking for the season plus I won the Mensa Award for the top winning pct at the Sports Eye, for last week. Chicago (AL) Oakland UNDER 7.5 : Two white hot pitchers take to the mound this afternoon in what should be a classic pitchers duel. Chicago's Buehrle has posted an ERA of .87 in his last 3 starts, walking just 3 while striking out 20, plus he has ERA's of 2.30 in 4 road starts and 2.82 in 3 days starts this year. Oakland's Mulder has posted just a 1.14 ERA in his last 3 starts, giving up just 11 hits in 23.2 innings, plus he has a 3.05 ERA in 5 home starts and a 2.86 ERA in 3 days starts this year. This has all the makings of a 2-1 game which would come in way under the poseted total of 7.5.
