Counter Proposal

Since question has been posed regarding whether EC and TY be banned I want to propose another what I perceive to be a more relevant and appropriate issue.
My proposal is that the debate over the $10000, EC,S identity and all posts to pertaining to that thereof be ceased immediately, as anyone interested has read all of the arguments and posts thereo, and can make up his/her mind who to believe and whether to use the services in question
I proposel Wayne, BC and anyone interested draw up a set of strict guidelines not only for future contests of this nature but also to set limits to clean up the tones and language in some of the posts with appropriate warnings and then banning for those who do not comply.
The finalized version of the rules should be posted here and then a vote should be taken by all members who care to participate,
No one should be banned NOW because in my opinion no rules have been set up, and no one has been truly proven of anything which warrants such action.
I am expressing my opinion, and if others have other ideas, then express them here.
I fully agree with Wayne's use of the word cancer but in another sense;the threads regarding this recently completed contest are the "cancer" and anyone who contributed to its nastiness and letting it get out of hand is as guilty as the two people who have been singled out.
The whole point is that to give this board credibility the issue of picking winners should be given full focus, and it is up to those who read the threads to decide who can do it best.

thanks Savage, i cant even believe we are being considered to be banned after how honest we have been with everyone!!!

people come on our threads and start with us and we answer back, there has been far worse that we have seen since we started posting here!!!

we have never looked for trouble like some members here!!!

However, you have always treated me with respect and viceversa and gave me a free week of service when I pointed out thatb you had been sending me multiple emails each day.
I have never ONCE known you to use vile language or to knowingly initiate contorvoversy like some. Enough said.

I agree but he has not been honest and that has been the main problem here. I don't think they should be banned either because they have done nothing against the rules that everyone else hasn't. If you banned them then you will be banning a lot of members of this board. That is the last thing I want!

Hey Tony-I am not sure the word "honest" applies to gambling, as 1) it is a dirty business by nature and is not even legal other than in Nevada.
Everyone of us is breaking the law when we(including me) place a bet with our local bookie or offshore(moreso with the local at this point, as offshores are still within the shady area of the law).
How many of us are really that honest when it comes to this stuff?
Have any of you tried to pastpost say a college basketball game with your local and succeeded?(I have-I remember betting a college basketball game about 10 minutes after it started, and i was getting about 10 points and my team was up by something like 14 points;by the way I lost the bet).
Have any of you ever checked your figure with your book at the end of the week and found that the bookie made an error in YOUR favor? Did you tell him about it?(It happened to me and I kept my mouth shut). Obviously if error had been AGAINST me, I as all of you would have been screaming my head off and demanding that he change it.
The whole point is that lets put gambling and claims by services and in this case the contest into perspective;very few of us are lily white when it comes to this stuff.
Concentrate on trying to win and forget the small stuff.
Hey I knocked Charlie's Service yesterday myself because of his claims, continued use of capital letters and long run on sentences, and posted a mock ad of my own in his thread writing it in the same manner as he(cap letters and run on sentences with silly claims)
The rhyme and reason for my response was not only to "mock" Charlie but to show Charlie how his ad comes across to one person;maybe it will make him change the way he writes his ad, maybe it won't.
I am point in my life where if I see someone who is not telling it as it is, I would rather prefer to offer ways to the person to improve and change rather than to simply bash with no purpose other than that.

I agree. East Coast seems like stand up guys. People are not forced to come into the Sports Service Forum and even read their plays, let alone pay for them.

Let them stay, CLEAN UP THE LANGUAGE, and most importantly EVERYONE WORRY ABOUT THEMSELVES.

Now, if there is a case for example that a BC member knows for a fact that Company XYZ has done them wrong, and they can prove that, then by all means lets hear it. This is done STRICTLY to PROTECT members of BC from "Scamdicappers"

I don't really care if the money was real or not, I didn't get any of it and I didn't pay any of it. If it was a marketing scheme, then good for them, because it worked. If it was real, then way to step up and put on 10 days of entertainment for the Forum.

Either way, EVERYBODY, including myself, needs to take a step back and realize we ARE ALL OUT FOR THE SAME REASON.
TO WIN MONEY!!!!!

So let's all get back to what we enjoy, and stop all the childish games.

Jeremy-the only sure thing is that considering your truly outstanding record, I don't think anyone would challenge you to a $100000 challenge now;keep those great picks coming, as personally I find it great to get the picks from really good cappers and even better when they are free.
The $100000 which was or not paid in the infamous just completed contest means nothing to me;the only thing which counted were the results of the contest and who could pick more winners albeit it was for a very short period of time.

My opinion here means little if anything , but it seems me that feeding-frenzies and witch-hunts aside we need laws (rules by which man must abide) . Being civilized and maintaining order (regardless of personal feelings or views) will carry the day .

Now with that being said , the personal interest that no one here gets the shaft seems to be shared by many here ( and thats great ! ) , plus its very tough cyber-wise to patrol the airwaves for any sort of scam or bull-shit as we all know but I ponder this question :

Now we see the problem here , and Im sure we all know the answer because its ours and ours alone ! Each and everyone of us must make our own decisions , granted when it becomes absolutely clear that another Jack Price or Jim Fiest is lurking admist our ranks we as a group must stand up and save the rooks .......... but it must be clear as a harvest moon or we put ourselves at risk to becoming what we loath and becoming the animal we hunt .

I speak for myself and myself alone here , was there cause for alarm ( maybe ) , was there cause for the hysteria that followed ( no-way ) but at no point should it have become a three alarm fire.

I reflect back a year ago when I made a statement about a certain Rockies pitcher who struckout 2.2 batter per inning for 7 innings ( and at Coors Field of all places ) that the boxscore showed he had a decent game . Granted he lost the decision by giving up 4 homeruns (with none on ) and his team gave him absolutely no support at the plate . A member of this board (no names allowed) responded by saying he was trash ! I retorted by saying that the member in question could not read a boxscore .

As it where ....... all hell broke lose for two weeks around here and many members sided with him because of personal issues with me ( not the issue ) .

Point being :

We cannot all agree all of the time , but we must be objective about it and not let our personal feelings interject or we become mud-slingers at best . And I for one will be no part of such things because it serves no purpose for which we are trying to attain :

" WINNING "

Attitude is everything in this bizz , and with a bad one we are Doomed !

Now I hope that we leave the decisions as to whos who and who lied , up to each individual because after all " thats what matters " ....... we cant think for eachother nor should we try !

I won't say much about this topic, because I did not read all the posts about it. It was simply TOO MUCH and I got kind of sick of these insults that were taking place.
Banning might not be the most democratical solution, BUT something had to happen! I think we all agree on this point.

This challenge was riddiculous right from the beginning and someone should have stopped it immediately. I do not believe that Wayne or Monte knew what was going to happen thanks to the challenge. Banning them (I do no think it is permanently. Please correct me if I am wrong) for this moment, might be the best way to cool this situation and give EVERYONE who was involved in this stuff some time to think about it.

I know, a lot of people won't agree with me here, but that's my opinion about this stuff.

Hope there will be more peace here. I assume we all have enough stress in our regular life, let's try to have a little place to relax and concentrate on our business HERE.

Do you not get that I'm sick of this subject? I think many others are too yet you wan't to continue to drum on about it for some reason.
