Tonight we like Milwaukee (Sheets -$130) over Pittsburgh (Fogg). We tried this matchup a week or so ago, and the Brew Crew failed us, but we will get our revenge tonight. Ben Sheets is coming of off NL player of the week honors by going 1-0 with a 1.59 Era in 17 innings with 22 strikeouts in his two starts. Add that to the fact that the Pirates are only 5-12 at home this season and Josh Fogg is 1-4 with a 7.75 Era on the season and you can see why we are excited about this matchup.
We also like Minnesota (Radke -$130) over Chicago Sox (Cotts). Brad Radke is only 3-2 on the season with a 4.09 Era, but it is what he has done lately that makes this a nice play. He is 1-0 with a 3.60 Era in 20 innings over his last three starts, plus he beat the Sox three times last season. Cotts is getting his first start of the season and he will find things tough against one of the best home teams over the past few seasons. Minny has opened this season at 13-7 at home and will take back the division after allowing the Sox to win the first two games of this series.
