Carl Pavano has been pitching great this season and the Marlins are (6-1) when he takes the hill. Florida’s bats have been a bit quiet recently, but look for that to turn around tonight against Houston. Yes, Tim Redding has pitched better in his last 2 outings, but the Houston bullpen has really dropped the ball this season and struggled.
Even if this one turns into a pitcher’s duel, go with Pavano who is holding batters to a .218 average & the stronger Marlin’s pen to pull out a victory at home on Wednesday night
