  • Houston in Club House, posting a 70.

It was 5 Birds and 3 Bogeys for a 2-under 70 today as John Houston awaits Scott McCarron, who has 6 holes to play and holds a one stroke lead in the Bounty Hunter "Match-Up."

For 3 days at the star-studded event where the celebrities play with the pros, Houston has carded a 66 on Opening Day at the
    "Palmer Course."

On Day 2, Houston fired another 66 on the Indian Wells course.

And today, on the hardest of the four courses, LaQuinta, John
got thru under par but only by a couple of strokes.

Scott McCarron still has 6 holes left on the tough La Quinta back 9. He has only had 3 birdies today, but has kept the ball straight
and avoided the rough, preventing any bogeys.

McCarron, a streaky player, was 10 under par yesterday with a super 62. But that was a much easier course than today's.

A good indication of the difference in the 4 courses is McCarrons rounds of the 10 birdies yesterday and 3 today. He has 6 holes left to either put some distance between him and Houston, or, should he enounter some of La Quinta's trees, he might "bounce"
    upward.
