  • Houston slips, McCarron steady in Bob Hope

First, congrats to T. Paul on his Mike Weir selection in the Bob Hope Classic. Weir is 16 under.

Our selection, John Houston, had a great front 9, with 3 birdies,
but bogeyed two holes of the first 3 on the back side and failed to birdie a par 5. He is now 13 under.

Scott McCarron is playing a steady round with no bogeys and stands at 15 under. Both are playing the hardest of the 4 courses, La Quinta.

The leader, Stephen Ames, is 21 under but does not figure into our matchup. The closest to Ames is yesterday's near record setter, Pat Perez at 18 under.

    Best,

PS. Anybody find Olympic web site?
Sorry I put Odessy. Just woke up after hospital stay w/son, as you know, Mr. A.

Huston just birdied as you were posting to pull with in one.

I believe Bettorschat said you are looking for Olympic and not Odessy. You must be sleepy.

Sorry about your son. Hope all is OK.

Yep TorontoPaul pick is looking good. Keep it up

      Thanks for the update Z.

Yes, it was a long night spent sitting straight up in hospital chair.

We need to push this horse home. Just a few holes left on a very
      difficult course.
