  • 5-1 Sunday - NL Game of the Month Today - Guaranteed Card

Insider Edge Sports – Report For Monday, April 12, 2004

Members go 5-1 on Sunday with all 4 baseball winners being dogs. After a bad day on Saturday, we easily made up for it yesterday. For Monday, we have 3 winners including our National League Game of the Month. Baseball is still hot so now is the time to jump on board. The first baseball game goes off at 1:05 pm EST this afternoon. As always, the entire card is guaranteed.

#1 Documented in NCAA Hoops! We ended the season +36 units, finishing 1st at Wisetracking and we would have been first at Procappers if unit values were used, since all games are counted as just one unit there. Overall, a great season.

Sacramento Kings at Denver Nuggets 9:00 pm EST

    Sacramento +1.5 (2 Units)

This game is important for both teams even though it seems the line is adjusted more for the Nuggets sake. Denver needs this to keep pace in the playoffs race while the Kings need just one more win or one Lakers loss to clinch its third straight Pacific Division title and the playoffs' second seed. Sacramento is coming off a huge win against the Lakers on Sunday but a letdown is not in the cards. The Kings played with more desperation and passion than they've shown in the seven weeks since Webber's comeback from knee surgery. It’s also important for the Kings to win to try and steal the top spot in the Western Conference. The Kings are one game behind Minnesota for the conference's top spot, but the Timberwolves have the tiebreaker. They must win out to have any shot. The Kings have won 9 of the last 10 meetings and although Denver has won 6 straight at home, only 2 were against playoff bound teams.
